  • Dr. Riad Obegi


    Chairman of Obegi Group, Dr. Riad Obegi is also Chairman of the BEMO Group of banks and financial institutions, Chairman of Unifert Holding Lebanon, Vice- Chairman of Fertitrust Holding in Luxembourg, who are part of the Obegi Group holding. Dr. Riad Obegi is also Board member of Obegi Chemicals Group.

    Dr. Riad Bechara Obegi is a member of the third-generation of the Obegi family. He has over 35 years of extensive banking management experience. He joined the family business founded by his Grand father in 1905 which has grown into the Obegi Group, a regional network of companies including banks and financial institutions, agri-business, chemicals and consumer goods, throughout the Middle East and Europe.

    Dr. Riad Obegi graduated in 1981 with a BA in Business Law from the University of Paris ASSAS and a Master in Business Administration from Paris IX Dauphine, followed in 1982 by a Degree in Economy and Finance from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. In 1997, he attended the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School. He completed his Ph. D. in Economics from Lyon Lumière University in 2008 and his dissertation was published under the title, Risque et Crédit:  “Le Certificat Hypothécaire, Une Solution pour Les Pays Emergents” and is presently in its second printing.

  • Mr. Henry Obegi

    CEO and Vice Chairman

    Mr. Henry Obegi is the CEO and Vice Chairman of Obegi Group.
    He is also the CEO of Al Wadi Al Akhdar.

    Mr. Henry Obegi is a member of the fourth generation of the Obegi family. He holds a Bachelor in Applied Mathematics from University of Paris IX Dauphine - France, a Master in International Management from ESADE Business School - Spain and a Msc in Management from the CEMS Alliance obtained at the Keio University - Japan.

    Prior to joining Obegi Group, Mr. Henry Obegi worked in Ireland for the tech company Dropbox (Refer to : He then moved to Paris where he founded the tech company Shoki (Refer to: which was later acquired by the French tech company Visiperf (Refer to:

  • Ms Dana Obegi

    Board Member

    Ms Dana Obegi is clinical psychologist with a Master Degree of Saint Joseph University.

    She is a member of “Société Libanaise de Psychanalyse”, the Lebanese Psychoanalytical Association.
    She attended several training courses in Group Therapy with members of “Société Libanaise de Psychanalyse” from 1996 to 2001. Ms Dana Obegi  is in Charge of a Practice and Analysis Course at the Psychomotor Institute of Saint Joseph University. In 2002, she established her private clinic which she has been managing since then.

    After the life changing loss of her husband Georges Obegi - previously CEO of OCPH, co-CEO of Unifert and CEO of Obegi Group - Ms Dana Obegi took financial courses at ESA with Mr Leon Laulusa, Professor in the Financial Reporting and Audit department at ESCP.  She learned Transactional analysis and organizational behavior through courses with Mrs Maria Kotsovoulou Professor of Negotiation, Leadership and Organizational Behavior at ESCP.
    She also served on the Board of Obegi Consumer Products Holding in 2015.

    In April 2020, she was appointed to the board of Obegi Group SA.

  • Mr Pascal Grizot

    Board Member
    Pascal Grizot, born in 1962, has been managing his own family offices, Alyan Group, since 2007. 
    He invests in private equity, hedge funds, real estate, bonds, and equity through structured products.
    Over the last 10 years, he participated in the creation of Novescia, one the main player in medical analysis in France sold to Cerba, and has invested in different business fields suchs as communication (EGC&Associés sold to Havas), floral transmission (Interflora sold to a Private Equity fund, Montefiore), the distribution of golf equipment (buillding the leader in Europe, Piguy Golf Challenge, sold to a Private Equity fund, ISC), the publication of legal advertisements (Legal2Digital), the distribution of hearing aids (Vivason) and the manufacture of decorative solutions for cars (Dourdin). He also launched a structured products fund (Crystal Investissement). He has also invested in innovative start-ups such as HomExchange, home exchange site, Believe, music distribution and marketing solution, and OnOff, application to get multiple phone numbers on the same terminal.
    He managed also real estate development operations in Val d’Isere and Corsica.

    Mr Pascal Grizot is also the main shareholder of Continentale Protections Services, a security company with more than 1 500 employees.

    Formerly, for 20 years, he created and bought companies in the food retail distribution, becoming in 2001 the main Carrefour franchisee in Paris, operating 15 supermarkets. He sold his company, Hamon Group, to Carrefour in 2006.
    Finally, Mr Pascal Grizot has been also Vice-President of the French Golf Federation since 2013 and is about to become President.

  • Mr. Roy Faraj

    Chief Financial Officer
    Chief Financial Officer of Obegi Group, Mr. Roy Faraj manages the financials of Obegi Group Holding. His role has been critical to support and advise the CEOs and Boards of the various entities of the Group on all financial related matters and investment projects, throughout the Middle East and Europe, covering a wide variety of businesses, including Agri-business, Chemicals, Consumer goods and Luxury Interiors.

    Mr. Roy Faraj has more than 20 years of experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods at Obegi Consumer Products Holding, one of the Obegi Group subsidiaries, a leading FMCG company in Lebanon and the Levant countries. He held senior management and executives positions related to finance, project management.

    Lebanese citizen, Mr. Roy has lived since then in his home country and has been travelling across Middle East and Europe.

    Mr. Roy Faraj has a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut and three master degrees; in Management (MBA) and in Marketing from L’ Ecole Superieure des Affaires and in Finance and Treasury from HEC Lausanne.

    Head of Real Estate
    As Head of Real Estate and In-House Architect of Obegi Group, Mr. Toufic Corban has the mission to lead, develop and optimize, at a Group level, the Real Estate Portfolio of the Obegi Group and the Obegi Family in addition to providing access to strategically selected novel business opportunities, locally and globally; structuring transaction and raising equity with the aim to safeguard growth and increase profitability.

    Mr. Toufic Corban is an experienced Architect and Certified Project Manager benefitting from more than 15 years of experience in steering Real Estate development projects for globally established and leading family owned corporations alike the Obegi Group at present and CMA CGM the eminent shipping company (year 2000 to 2009). Mr. Toufic Corban has a solid expertise in Architecture & Engineering, Planning & Scheduling, Contracting & Procuring, Project Management & Contract Administration (FIDIC). He is also knowledgeable in Corporate Communication, Branding, Public Speaking and Relation, Event management & planning, Negotiation, Business Strategy & Expansion.

    Lebanese and Brazilian citizen, Mr. Toufic Corban currently resides in Lebanon and commutes across the Middle East. He also acts as the lead teaching Professor of Project Management at the Academie Libanaise des Beaux Arts (ALBA), Beirut, Lebanon.

    Mr. Toufic Corban has a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Academie Libanaise des Beaux Arts (ALBA), Lebanon, as well as a degree in Project Management (PMI) in addition to other certificates in Business Management.
